“Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.” (Pr 22:24-25 AV)

When my wife and I were checked out to the health clinic at the airport in Jakarta, I saw there was a portly man in a wheelchair driven by the officers at the airport. His face looked pale, and occasionally broke into a sweat (sorry) to vomit. With the accent of Malays, This man claimed to be from Singapore. At first I suspected this man had vomit at the time of boarding. Apparently my assumption was wrong. He was actually just going to take a plane to Singapore. But why did he get vomit? Because he can not stand the congestion on the road to the airport!

Singaporeans have never experienced traffic jams in Jakarta. He was accustomed to a life of good order and discipline department. So when subjected to the chaotic traffic situation, so he was pleasantly surprised.
Our lives can not be free from outside influence our environment. Our attitudes, values, beliefs, and knowledge is shaped by the external environment. People who live in a society of law-abiding, disciplined and orderly, then she will do the same.

Interactions also affect us. That is why, the authors proverbs told that we should be careful in choosing friends hanging out. One-one, we could get used to and imitating the bad behavior of our friends. But that does not mean we should stay away from those who sinned. Because if no one "good" who wants to be friends with them, then nothing can affect them for the better. (Purnawan)

SMS from God: We can because it used to. But the bad habits that will make us perish.
